They were/are some of the best ever designed. =( I 100% agree with every sentiment below, this is just another tragic case of "We can do it better" Renegade Legion in name only. At first glance I was so excited I almost turned my shorts brown, but as I got to digging in for more information, saw the new official page, the patreon, etc, that excitement has turned to ash in my mouth. I started this day out looking for the Renegade Legion "R", because I loved the old Renegade Legion from FASA (still have all of it), and I wanted to paint that "R" on my UCM ships from Dropfleet Commander, and I happened upon this. Additionally, altitude, commanders, Unit combat management, and a keyword system that makes for huge Unit flexibility without overly complex cards are now in the base system. Centurion is an all-in-one-level game now, and it meets our core aims of simplicity and playability with easy-to-implement granularity.
